On radial and directional controllability of bilinear systems

چکیده
In this note we study two notions of controllability, called respectively radial controllability and directional controllability. They are both weakened versions of the classical notion of global controllability. We prove that for families of linear vector fields, the two notions are actually equivalent. © 2013 Elsevier B.V. On Controllability and Near-controllability of Multi-input Discrete-time Bilinear Systems in Dimension Two
This paper completely solves the controllability problems of two-dimensional multi-input discrete-time bilinear systems with and without drift. Necessary and sufficient conditions for controllability, which cover the existing results, are obtained by using an algebraic method. Furthermore, for the uncontrollable systems, near-controllability is studied and necessary and sufficient conditions fo...
متن کاملControllability and simultaneous controllability of isospectral bilinear control systems on complex flag manifolds
For isospectral bilinear control systems evolving on the so-called complex flag manifolds (i.e., on the orbits of the Hermitian matrices under unitary conjugation action) it is shown that controllability is almost always verified. Easy and generic sufficient conditions are provided. The result applies to the problem of density operator controllability of finite dimensional quantum mechanical sy...
متن کاملOn Near-controllability, Nearly-controllable Subspaces, and Near-controllability Index of a Class of Discrete-time Bilinear Systems: A Root Locus Approach
This paper studies near-controllability of a class of discrete-time bilinear systems via a root locus approach. A necessary and sufficient criterion for the systems to be nearly controllable is given. In particular, by using the root locus approach, the control inputs which achieve the state transition for the nearly controllable systems can be computed. Furthermore, for the non-nearly controll...
متن کاملOn Computing Control Inputs to Achieve State Transition for a Class of Nearly Controllable Discrete-Time Bilinear Systems
Near-controllability is defined for those systems that are uncontrollable but have a large controllable region. It is a property of nonlinear control systems introduced recently, and it has been well demonstrated on discrete-time bilinear systems. The purpose of this paper is to propose a useful algorithm to compute the control inputs, which achieve the transition of a given pair of states, for...
متن کاملON CONTROLLABILITY AND OBSERVABILITY OF FUZZY CONTROL SYSTEMS
In order to more effectively cope with the real world problems of vagueness, imprecise and subjectivity, fuzzy event systems were proposed recently. In this paper, we investigate the controllability and the observability property of two systems that one of them has fuzzy variables and the other one has fuzzy coefficients and fuzzy variables (fully fuzzy system). Also, sufficient conditions for ...
